"I've been with State Farm for decades, in several states. I can't recall how I chose Lindsay Shnarr's office when we moved to Bloomington in 2006 -- probably I thought it was closer to my house than it is -- but it was a lucky choice. I've still never been to the office, but all my telephone interactions with the office, including a harrowing ordeal after I totaled a car in 2023, have been positive and helpful. Especially excellent has been Mary Langley in that office. Mary seems to know everything I need to know, finds my records immediately, her explanations of conditions and options are incredibly clear, she's delightful to talk with, and I always feel I'm in good hands with her, always relieved when it's she who answers the phone. Today it was a confusion over the strange timing of my car insurance renewal period, and she clarified an apparently very complex change going on with software and a new multi-car policy going into effect soon: I'd called in total confusion, and hung up the phone smiling. She's a treasure. I recommend State Farm and this office to friends. Thank you."

"I've been at this agent for years. I'm completely shocked by the way she talked to me. I never call and ask questions, just pay my bill on the ap. Today I had a question, seemed like I messed her whole day up when she called me back hours later. Related to my loses to her daughter, not okay. I asked about why the monthly bill is gradually going up also and she flat denied it but my bank statement for the last 5 years would say other wise. My 2 cars are older and we have no wrecks or tickets. Why is this happening? An okay respond would be, inflation. I would have accepted that, but flat denial. She just seemed like, I was bothering her and she had no time for me and my silly questions. That will never happen again"

"Had an issue with a lug nut from another vehicle that hit my truck while driving on the highway. When I went to file the claim, her office was anything but professional. I was pawned off to the central claim number. Then pawned off to the online submission for the claim. I understand the need for streamlining. But when I went to complain to her office was pretty much told off and told to go somewhere else. At that point I decided to pull my insurance from state farm and arranged for the date to ensure coverage. Her office then reported back that they were cutting me off immediately. Effectively, give me a week gap in coverage. Had to call corporate to get it fixed. Had state farm for 40 years and never had this level of service before from any kind of rep. Their corporate centers has been excellent in handling all my calls."

"THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Do not use State Farm as your insurer! Do not use Lindsey Schnarr as your agent. I've had the absolute worst experience working with her and her "team". Six months of getting passed from adjuster to adjuster, nobody in the office is able to provide any clarifying info. They can't answer simple questions and get rude when you ask for answers. I've been with State Farm for 16 years. Never once made a claim. The first claim I ever make and I get stonewalled with no answers or resolution. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!"
